Beyond buying

Jewellery repair and restoration

From a simple resize to the careful restoration of a treasured heirloom, our goldsmiths bring damaged and worn jewellery back to life.

Trusted repairs in Dorset

Jewellery is worn every day, and even the finest pieces need attention. A loose stone, a worn claw, a snapped chain or a ring that no longer fits — our goldsmiths can put it right.

Every repair uses the correct metals and techniques for the piece. Sentimental or valuable, modern or antique, your jewellery is in careful hands. We repair work we did not make: high-street, designer, inherited or bought abroad.

A bespoke ring design

Designed with you

Bespoke jewellery, crafted by hand

From the first sketch to the final polish, we design rings, pendants, earrings and more that no one else will own. Choose the metal, stones and setting. Nearly three decades of bench experience and GIA-trained advice sit alongside modern CAD, so the piece matches your taste and your budget — without a high-street mark-up.

Metals are responsibly sourced and stones are certified and conflict-free. Remodelling inherited gold and resetting your own diamonds is a speciality. Most commissions take four to six weeks from design approval, and nothing is made until you have approved the render.

Request a repair or design quote

Describe the work and we will reply with a clear price. Straightforward resizes and clasp jobs are often inexpensive; antique restoration takes more time. There is no obligation.

You do not need a finished idea. Many clients arrive with a photograph or a rough thought, and we guide metals, shapes and settings from there. If a ring is a surprise, size can be estimated discreetly and adjusted after completion.
